8 steps to score high in 2020 UTME
Hello there, today I will be giving you some useful hints on how you can score extraordinarily high scores this year's JAMB.
There are lots of precautions to be taken and lots of preparations to make if you really wish for a commendable score.
Now, let me cut it short, below are some essential preparatory steps to take:
1) Write down your desired score in a plain paper, make it pretty bold that you can even sight it clearly from paces away then paste it where you will always see it. Why is this no 1 the most important? I know you will ask that, every ability is in the mind. Take it or leave it, if you don't bombard yourself with the thought of it, you will not score high even if you're a genius. Seeing it from time to time gives you a sense of responsibility as to what you must do to score something close to that figure.
2) Create a personal study plan for each day prioritizing your subject of weakness. Most candidates always say that they will boost up their total score with the subject they are good at and so pay less attention to the other subject(s). What If you pay rapt attention to that subject too, won't you perform better?
3) Get yourself registered in a UTME tutorial centre. Getting extra knowledge will also go a long way in helping you score high and training you to be an undergraduate. However, make sure you walk up to a very standard centre which can provide you with consistent lectures for excellence.
4) Solve past questions. Doing this is very simple and easy now, all you need to do is login to your play store or apple store and download the jamb test app. Another way is to visit a cyber café and pay to take a CBT on the computer system. If you don't have access to that, there are hard copy past questions up for grabs in most bookshops too. This will help to let you know where you are slacking off.
5) Get rid of the fear or else the fear will get rid of your good performance. A lot of candidates are fine just a few minutes before sitting in front of the system but when they get there, they become totally destabilize just because of fear. What must you do? Just see it as a normal aptitude test and you will see how easy it will become.
6)Do not waste time on a single question you are not sure of the answer. You can always proceed and come back later.
7) If there is a question that you can't get the correct answer in the options, leave it undone, that way you will be awarded your mark.
8) Do not be deluded that all questions carry equal marks. Tedious questions tend to carry more marks than direct and simple ones. So be wise and do not neglect technical questions.
